This thesis consists of a critical edition, with introduction, notes and indices, of an anthology of Arabic love poetry and prose narrative. The title of the anthology is "Nafa is al-a'laq fi ma'athir al-'ushshaq", and it was compiled by Siraj al-Din Abu al-Hasan 'Ali b. Sa'id b. Hamamah al-Maghribi (d. 604 A. H.).
