This thesis explores the experiences and perceptions of healthcare professionals working with people with eating disorders (EDs). Paper 1 is a metaethnography on the lived experiences of healthcare professionals working with people with EDs; Paper 2 is a qualitative study exploring the perceptions of clinicians working in adult ED services towards the concept of the 'anorexic voice' (AV), and Paper 3 is a critical examination of papers 1 and 2.
