Abstract: | |||||||
The research dossier consists of three research reports: a literature review and two qualitative studies; an Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) and a Foucauldian Discourse Analysis (FDA). The literature review looked at the conceptualisation of sexuality, particularly how sexual fluidity may be understood from an existential phenomenological perspective. The first study, using IPA methodology, explored the lived experience of individuals who experience sexuality as fluid. The second study looked at the ways in which these individuals discursively constructed sexual fluidity, employing an FDA methodology.
