Abstract:
The low temperature adsorption of krypton has been studied on four samples of silver iodide prepared in difterent ways. On the fourth samp1e, adsorption has been measured at three different temperatures so that tbermodynamic quantities can be calculated. The low pressures of krypton involve correction for the thermal transpiration effect by either the Lien or Weber-Miller methods dependent upon the actual pressure.
