Abstract: | |||||||
The major roles of prostaglandin of the E and P series in reproductive processes are reviewed. The structures and biosynthesis of the prostaglandin are described before discussing how prostaglandin may be involved in ovulation, luteal regression and uterine physiology in primates and non-primates. Finally the possible role(s) of prostaglandin in semen is discussed.
