Abstract: | |||||||
Campylobacter, Mmomlla and VTEC infections account for the largest proportion of reported gastroenteric disease cases in human beings caused by zoonotic bacteria in the UK. Domestic cattle are considered an important source of these patliogens and there is increasing evidence that wildlife can become infected with these bacteria as well However, the role, if any, of wildlife in their epidemiology remains unknown.
