Imaging from limited data is a common practice in many industrial tomography applications where sensor design often assumes an irregular approach with low number of measurements. In hard-field tomography, where access restrictions forbid the continuous scanning around the subject, the measurements represent an undersampled set of data resulting in a sparse sinogram and a reconstructed image with severe artefacts.
