Abstract: | |||||
This thesis discusses the development of a variety of agricultural settlements that are known in central and southern regions of the province of Lusitania between the 1st and 5th centuries AD. It is the intention of the work to present a detailed commentary on a peripheral region of the Roman world that has previously received limited attention in more general studies on the western provinces.
