The study of the derived category of coherent sheaves of Calabi-Yau varieties is an active area of research and of interest to mathematicians and physicists alike. One aspect of particular interest is the set of stability conditions, which is known to be a complex manifold. A stability condition is equivalent to a bounded t-structure with a centered stability-function on its heart with the Haxder-Narasimhan property. Studying the set of t-structures gives global information on the space of stability conditions.
