Some people with epilepsy experience problems at work, putting them at risk of job loss. Work Instability [WI] is a state arising from a mismatch between an individual's functional abilities and the demands of the job, the consequences of which could threaten continuing employment. Currently there is no reliable way of screening for people with epilepsy who may have WI. This research aimed to develop a scale that can predict the risk of job loss for those in work and ascertain the relevance of the scale in clinical practice.
