|
A review of the literature investigating the experiences of those caring for a loved-one with an
eating disorder, using Hoenig & Hamilton's (1966) model o(caregiver burden and considering the
practical and emotional experiences ofburden. Followed by an examination of the relationships
between illness perceptions in carers ofthose with anorexia nervosa and carers' experiences of
caring, styles ofcoping and levels ofdistress.
