Abstract: | |||||||
A very common activity of human beings is travelling. Whether it be by baby-sling, wheelchair, skis, car, boat, aircraft or on foot, most people have experienced some form of transport. The movement involved in this transportation is usually forwards but other motions also occur in the vertical and lateral directions. It is with the vertical movements experienced in transport and the response to them that this study is concerned.
