Abstract:
The research contained within this thesis examines the contribution of anaerobic bacteria to inflammation in Cystic Fibrosis. Specifically this research project examines the activation of Toll-like receptors in response to infection with anaerobic bacteria in both single infections and in mixed infections with P.aeruginosa.
