Abstract:
This thesis reports the results of investigations concerning the potential range and global colonisation ability of selected insect pests of oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.). The Scottish distribution, abundance and phenology of three pest species, the cabbage seed weevil, Centorhynchus assimilis Payk (Coleoptera. Curculionidae), the brassica pod midge, Dasineura brassicae Winn.
