This thesis is concerned with the equal mass many-body problem arising in connection with both Keplerian and Coulombic pair potentials. We also consider some more general pair potentials. We investigate the method of Davies, Truman and Williams (DTW), used to obtain periodic solutions of many-body equal mass systems, by developing a study of the linear stability of their f-equation. We attempt both analytical and numerical studies in this context. We obtain periodic solutions for many-body systems for Logarithmic pair potentials by following the methodology of DTW. We obtain completely new types of periodic solution, weaving style and chasing style, for a variety of pair potentials. Finally, we give some indication of areas of further study.
