FD! has increased its importance in providing growth and prosperity of late. Increased focus has been placed on the innportance of the determinants of FDI. There has also been much interest in the unique conditions that exist in transition economies that are moving to market economies in terms of the potential for FDt activity. The same can be said for emerging economies at particular time periods. This document sets out to trace the development of Foreign Direct Investment activity across a number ot turopean and Emerging Economies.
