Abstract:
This thesis reports on a small-scale qualitative study of how practitioners working in a children's centre nursery articulate and co-construct pedagogy and practice. The account is set in the context of research, policy and practice in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector in England, and has been written with a reflective and reflexive awareness of the author as practitioner-researcher.
