Abstract:
Summary: The solubilisation and enrichment of protein complexes with affinity resins was investigated using a tagged-human adenosine A1a receptor expressed in CHO cells. A range of known and potential binding partners were identified by peptide mass spectrometry in both agonist and antagonist treated membrane extracts, that showed striking similarity to protein partners identified in published studies on other G protein-coupled receptors.
