Abstract:
Cobalt carboxylates have long been known to be of considerable use in ranging from pharmaceutical applications to catalytic products. It is this latter application that is considered within this thesis, more specifically, the process of formation of a commercially relevant cobalt carboxylate utilised in the tyre and rubber industry.
