Abstract:
Strategy implementation is a vital stage within the strategic management process to meet predetermined strategic plans and relevant objectives in organisations. Although the strategy implementation process is an inseparable and significant sub-set of the strategic management process, there is little literature and research that concentrates on it and most of the literature concerns the formulation and planning side. The aim of this research is, therefore, to investigate the impeders and difficulties affecting strategy implementation within a HE context, and specifically the public sector HE provision in ran, in order to achieve an in-depth understanding of the nature of and reasons for the problems observed in the implementation process.
