Abstract:
The efficiency of unplasticised polyvinylchloride (UPVC) extrusion from dry blends of high-attrition mixers largely depends on powder characteristics of the dry blends. Better understanding of the morphological features of the powder blend and its processed form would therefore underlie the optimisation of the efficiency of the overall process. This is the theme, and therefore the raison d'ĂȘtre, for the present study.
